Strange Fall Audiobook

6 Nov

I’ve been meaning to release audio versions of some of my previous titles for some time now. At long last, I am happy to announce that the audiobook edition of Strange Fall is available on Audible!

StrangeFall2Winnie McKeller is lost in her own home, alone in the town that she has lived in since the day she was born. Her world has been shaken. Death has been haunting her family for the past year, and on one unusual night, each member of her family will be forced to confront their pain and fight to put the pieces of their lives back together.

Winnie’s journey will lead her through the back roads and dark woods of her quiet town. She will find herself cut off from everything she knows, in pursuit of a mysterious stranger with no pulse and a Y-shaped incision on his chest.

As the night unfolds, Winnie’s mother will encounter a dangerous woman who claims to be a witch. Her father will seek supernatural help in an attempt to understand what lies beyond the veil that separates this life from the next. And her closest friend will be tormented by shadows that threaten to drag her into darkness.

Autumn has always had a special sort of feeling to it. Outside, the leaves are changing and the air is crisp. It’s the time of year when weird things happen… And this is going to be a Strange Fall.

For those who are not yet familiar with Audible, it’s a great way to listen to books on the go. And they offer a free audiobook with their free trial, so it’s a pretty sweet deal. Give it a look!

Keep an eye out in the coming weeks, because I will also be releasing an audiobook edition of Spirit of Christmas pretty soon!

If you have a favorite Kyle Andrews book that you’d like to see in audiobook form, please let me know! You can send an email to kyle(at)authorkyleandrews.com

Five Years Earlier…

9 Mar

As I continue to prepare my new book, Freedom/Hate for release (pre-order your copy today!), I have had some old friends stopping by for a visit in my head.

Five years ago this month, I sat down to begin writing Starlette (purchase your copy today!). It’s hard to tell whether I should feel as though it were only yesterday, or if it feels like a hundred years have passed since then. Either way, it was an exciting time for me.

The story began, oddly enough, five years earlier. As I was watching the Oscars red carpet show on television, I couldn’t help but get annoyed with the actors that I was listening to. The way they spoke about their films being “important” irritated me. They acted as though they were saving the world by making movies. Continue reading

Interior Design (aka A Journey into the Abyss)

3 Mar

I’ve been thinking that I should use this blog as something more than what it’s been. This shouldn’t be too hard, since it hasn’t been much of anything.

What I’ve decided to try and do is document more of my writing/publishing process. This will be less for the enjoyment of you readers (since it will probably be boring), and more about me documenting my writerly struggles, so that my family will know that I don’t just watch funny kitten videos all day. (which I don’t do, because I’m a dog person)

Some of these blog entries will be more interesting than others. At the moment, I’m not building any worlds or having fun with characters. Today, I’m trying to format the print edition of my new book, Freedom/Hate.

(the Kindle version of Freedom/Hate will be released on April 19! Pre-order your copy today by clicking on this link!)

Strange Fall

26 Oct

It’s been a while since I posted anything new to the blog. Rest assured, this is not because I have forgotten that I have a blog… Though that kinda happened too.

The real reason why it’s been so quiet around here is that I have a new novel that is just about to be released and I’ve been spending a lot of time getting it all shined up and ready to go.

What is this new book, you ask? (pretend you asked)

It is called Strange Fall. It’s a neat little paranormal tale which I think you’ll enjoy reading this Halloween. Look for it FREE October 27th through October 31st and be sure to tell your friends!
